IfIf you spend a little time having a look around my website, you will notice that many of my images tend to fall within more than one category ...
It would be wonderful to say that is purely a consequence of my art being totally uncategorisable ... but I'd find it hard to keep a straight face whilst doing so.
My images are unique (so are yours) and in some way; everything I do (or have done) will obviously feed into their production; in the same way that everything you have seen or experienced, will affect (or have an effect) upon the way you perceive them (see I can talk bs if I want to).
Seriously, I'm very down to earth, if you like my stuff, I am happy ... if you don't, I am also happy ... I enjoy producing my images and I hope most people enjoy the results.
As a result of my fascination with vintage lenses and adapting (and building) lenses from things I find at the tip (or languishing on eBay) my images are (of course) going to be influenced by these choices.
The haphazard way I capture images is, I think, the thing that gives them their uniqueness ... I am forever experimenting and always learning new ways to use cameras and lenses.
I beg, steal and borrow from whatever and wherever I see beauty (or sometimes horror) ... and I hope that I can cheer (or dispair) in equal measure!
